Short summary
A new approach for the determination of source–receptor relationships of volatile organic odor species at an industrial odor nuisance site is proposed. A dual-optical sensing system and a meteorological station were used collaboratively to generate both receptor and source data. Factor and cluster analyses were employed to improve the quality and completeness of the source profiles. The major odor emission source was identified and future emission reductions can be accomplished accordingly.
